As you probably know, I like to build custom GPTs. I’ve lost count of how many I have, but it’s a lot. So many in fact that I built a custom GPT to “search” which points me to the best of my custom GPTs. Today’s build was for SOPs — Standard Operating Procedures.
As I hire employees and VAs to handle tasks, I’m providing them with SOPs (in addition to training) to help get them up to speed and keep them on track. While the old fashioned way of simply grinding them out, word-by-word is very effective, it’s pretty time consume — and that, frankly, defeats the whole purpose of what I’m trying to achieve.
The custom GPT I built makes it dead simple to draft a very usable draft SOP. I simply provide a sentence or two of input (even a few seconds of voice input). Then I get a multi-page, organized document that I can edit and add to.
Check out this example (it’s a Google Doc). The prompt I used to generate it was “Give me a step-by-step template for tying my shoes.”
Pretty fun. Lots of potential.
